Grand Pairing

We’re having a Grand Pairing on Saturday, with a wide selection of wines, from old favorites to new wines to the store, from Muscadet, to Auxerrois, to Spatburgunder to Montepulciano (yes, those all are varietals at the Pairing). There are new wines from Vouvray, Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Germany, and two new rose’s, one from Bandol and the other the Rhone Valley.

There are 4 tables, each with six wines and six foods.  See below for the line-up. The best wayto experience the wide variety of wines and styles is

Open House

to taste sparkling and white (and perhaps rose’s) at each table first, and then come back for the reds. That way you won’t finish up with a bold red at the end of one table and start in again with a crisp white at the next table. In order to do this, I recommend that you come early, before it gets crowded. You’ll be able to move around freely. This becomes difficult later on as it inevitably gets crowded. We think 4 tables is the right size for the store, while providing a great variety (and is enough to drink!). We look forward to seeing you there.
